Test Print Facts

Test prints are used to determine if the final print will turn out as expected. They allow the customer to check color, fonts, print quality, and resolution. Adage Graphics highly recommends that customers order a test print of their file to review before the full-sized print is produced. Standard test prints are small (approximately 10″ x 12″) versions of the complete image on the print media requested (prior to lamination or finishing). An alternative test print variation is to produce a segment of the print at a full 100% size. This “full-sized segment” version is useful if resolution of a portion of the image is a concern. Most test prints are $15.  Fine Art test prints and artist sign-off are required prior to fine art (single print or series) production. Fine Art test prints are $25.
